Commissioning editors (Film and TV):

Producers:

They produce the film, they work with the writers and commissioning editors.


Directors:
What do they do, who do they work with?
Direct the film, work with the producers, writers and commissioning editors.


Script editors:
What  do they do? Who do they work with?
Edit the script, they work with the producers, writers and commissioning editors


Agents (Film and TV)

They tell the actors about the film. They work with commissioning editors.


Writers:

Write the script, they work with  the producers and directors.

  • Making larger roles for the female characters s in the film
There is a need to update the original book for a modern audience that expects to see strong female characters.  

For example Arwen's role is just a short poem in the book, however she becomes a major role in the film......
  • Taking out (omitting) certain characters in the film look at this site for help

  • Writing an exposition (what has happened before the film starts) scene for the beginning of the film

  • Working with the actors as characters to create some parts of the script.
